The Manx Hockey Association has received a notice from Manx Sport & Recreation about car parking at the NSC.

The original notice only applied to Monday 21, Tuesday 22, and Wednesday 23 November. The MHA has just (Tuesday afternoon) received an update as follows:

Further to my email yesterday regarding the Industry Board Car Park (behind the QB pub), I write to advise that there will be some further disruption to this area on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 23rd November
  • Thursday 24th November
  • Friday 25th November

During the works on these dates there will be a portion of the car park sectioned off which will reduce the number of spaces available for parking.

Please can you issue an advanced warning and the attached ‘alternative car parking’ information sheet to your players so that they can make plans for lift sharing, alternative car park use etc for these dates.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused, we hope all of the disruption will be over by the weekend.

Thank you in advance for your support and understanding.

Subject: Industry Board Car Park Access

The original notice is below.

Sincere apologies for the late notice of this email but it has been brought to our attention that the access to the Industry Board Car Park (behind the QB pub) is currently hampered by some works that are taking place by Manx Telecom on the New Castletown Road.  We have been advised that these works will continue for the following days:

·        Monday 21st November

·        Tuesday 22nd November

·        Wednesday 23rd November

During these works there WILL STILL BE ACCESS to the car park through the green cones(see attached picture).  They have put in a one-way system during these works which will also affect access.

Please can you issue an advanced warning and the attached ‘alternative car parking’ information sheet to your players who may be visiting the NSC on the above dates so that they are aware of the disruption and the alternative car parks available.
