Another excellent week of hockey sees another team of the week.

Goalkeeper – Darcy Gilbert – Motorworx Valkyrs U15s

  • The second week on the bounce a Valkyrs keeper has appeared in the team of the week. Darcy made some superb saves in her match this weekend which kept her side in the fight early on and throughout the contest.

  • Playing as both a right back and midfielder Erin put on a fantastic performance this weekend. Showing a fantastic workrate she contributed greatly to her team’s win.

Defender – Oli Steriopulos – Canaccord Genuity Vikings D

  • For his performance in the game which saw Vikings D take their first win this season Oli was named player of the match. Folding firm in defence he proved tricky to get past as well as commanding the play going forward.

Midfielder – Ashton Fick – J. Qualtrough & Co Castletown Sabres

  • A close game in the under 15s league saw Sabres Ashton Fick named as a player of the match. Providing a number of attacking opportunities for her side, Ashton is one to watch for the future.

Midfielder – Lauren Collister – J. Qualtrough & Co Castletown Cosney

  • Playing a key role in her sides 8-0 victory Lauren was deployed as a left inner for the reds. A tireless performance saw her excel in both attacking and defensive situations.

Midfielder – Jasper Skillicorn – Athena Healthcare Harlequins C
