Next weekend, 9 & 10 November 2024, marks Remembrance Weekend, a time to honour and remember those who served and sacrificed. The Manx Hockey Association invites all players, coaches, officials, and supporters to join us in observing a one-minute silence before each game. This will be held at the start of all matches on both Saturday and Sunday.
The schedule for the silences will be as follows:
- Saturday: One-minute silence before each senior match
- Sunday: One-minute silence before the start of junior girls’ and junior boys’ games
Please inform your club members and participants to ensure that all teams can join us in paying their respects. This small gesture is a mark of our respect and gratitude, and we encourage everyone to participate fully.
