Hockey fans, this is a moment not to be missed! This Sunday, 17th November, the Isle of Man U18 Girls hockey team takes on Chorley U18 Girls in Round 2 of the England Hockey Championships Tier 2 – the first junior home fixture on the island in six years.

This match has historical significance, with the last girls’ home fixture featuring current U18 Girls Coach Emily Middleton and a young Sienna Dunn, then just 13. Six years on, Middleton is returning in her role as coach, bringing her expertise and experience to the next generation of players.
A True Island Effort – Representation from All Six Island Clubs
This U18 team proudly represents all six Island hockey clubs, demonstrating the thriving development and collaboration in Manx hockey. Eight players in the squad were part of the Isle of Man’s very first U14 team, launched in 2019, showcasing the talent pipeline emerging on the Island.
