The Manx Hockey Association proudly announces an action-packed weekend of top-tier hockey featuring matches both home and away this weekend. Hockey enthusiasts are welcome to come along, show their support, and enjoy a weekend of exhilarating competition sponsored by leading Manx business, Stonehage Fleming.

Saturday Action at the NSC

First up on Saturday, 14th December, at 11:00, the Isle of Man Ladies A team will face off against Liverpool Sefton 1s in the EH Women’s Tier 2 Knockout Championships (Round 2). With skilled umpiring from Blae Cain and Ciaran Gell, and Technical Delegate Jon Whiting, the match promises high-quality play and a gripping battle on the pitch.

Following the women’s fixture, at 13:00 the Isle of Man Men’s A team takes on Preston 1s in the EH Men’s Tier 2 Knockout Championships (Round 2). This face-off features respected officials Louise Corkill and Paul Hunter, with Jon Whiting once again serving as Technical Delegate. Both matches will deliver fast-paced action and a thrilling showcase of the island’s premier hockey talent.

Spectators can keep their energy up with refreshments served by Food Monkey.

Teams Representing the Isle Away from Home

On Saturday, the Island Men’s B team travels to the UK for the EH Men’s Tier 3 Knockout Championships (Round 2), where they will challenge West Bridgford 2s at 10:45. The team is ready to take their island pride to the next level against tough competition.

The weekend’s excitement continues into Sunday, as the U14 Boys team also heads to the UK for their fixture in the Boys U14 Tier 2 Knockout Championships. They’ll face Preston Boys U14 at 10:00 in what promises to be a thrilling showcase of emerging hockey talent.
