The Manx Hockey Association sends its condolences to the family and friends of Imran Sherwani, former GB Hockey international and Olympic Gold Medalist at the 1988 Seoul Games.
Imran holds a special place in the history of Isle of Man hockey. In 1991, he and four fellow Olympic Gold Medal winners formed a team that played against the Isle of Man men’s national side at the official opening of the all-weather pitch at the National Sports Centre.
