After some very rainy conditions on Saturday, congratulations to the following players on making into the Team of the Week for 21st February

Emma Worsfold (Harlequins Ladies B GK) – usually plays outfield for Harlequins Ladies A but stepped in to help their Ladies B at the weekend. She had a brilliant game in goals for them, make loads of saves and kept out a lot of difficult Vikings shots.

Suzanne Slater (Vikings Ladies C) – for making multiple crucial tackles and lots of interceptions in defence that stopped clear scoring chances.

Iain Wood (Ramsey Mens B) – played at centre back but ended up all over the pitch putting pressure on Castletown.

Carree Samson (Castletown Ladies D) – controlled midfield with strong tackles and distribution of the ball.

Darcy Killey (Harlequins Ladies B) – controlled the game and got herself a goal too after a brilliant run from defence.

Oliver Sidebottom (Castletown Mens C) – composed in midfield winning lots of tackles and using the ball intelligently.

Julia Jacobs (Vikings Ladies B) – delivered an outstanding performance, showing relentless running, tremendous work rate, and a positive attitude throughout a very cold and wet game.

Kirree Craine (Ramsey Ladies B) – stole her team’s Player of the Match vote for her epic running in attacking midfield and assisting in nearly all the Ramsey goals.

Sam Neto (Harlequins Mens C) – involved in everything the team did well, lots of positive passing and effective tracking back .

Ellen Robinson (Valkyrs Ladies A) – ‘class up front’ for with clinical play. Composed on the ball and took her chances to score 2 goals.

Dougie Quayle (Bacchas Mens A)– did lots of running to ensure he was in the right place at the right time.  Scored 3 goals due to his clinical finishing from short corners.

Thank you team captains for making the nominations.
