Lesley Shimmin has been selected to be part of a Wales O65s/O70s squad travelling to Belgium this bank holiday weekend to participate in the Five Nations Women’s Masters Hockey Tournament.
This is a great opportunity for the squad to get some top-level match play against the Netherlands, Scotland, Belgium, and England LX. While this is Lesley’s first time representing Wales in the outdoor game, she has already appeared six times for the Welsh Ladies indoor team.
The Manx Hockey Association and its members wish Lesley the very best of luck in Belgium and look forward to hearing how it went when she’s back!
