Junior hockey development is key to the growth of our sport on the Island and because almost half of our membership is under 18, we have decided to partner with Isle Listen for our Preseason Charity Tournament.

Isle Listen supports the mental health and wellbeing of children, young people, and the wider community. Their work focuses on early intervention—helping stop issues from escalating and making it easier for youngsters and their families to get support at the right time.

By raising funds for Isle Listen, we can help them support more young people, who may also be our players, navigate life’s ups and downs, build resilience, and maintain good mental health.

What they do:

  • Education in Schools: Practical mental health education for students.
  • Talk Service: Mental health support and therapy options for under-18s.
  • Support for Adults: Helping parents, carers, and teachers guide young people.
  • Training & Resources: Tools to help people understand mental health and support others.

At our Pre-Season Tournament on Saturday 5th September, we will be running a 50/50 raffle throughout the day, with 50% of funds raised going directly to Isle Listen to fund their services for young people on the Island. Tickets will soon be distributed to all clubs – please support a great cause, sell your raffle tickets, and help make the event a massive success!
